DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance our cloud computing capabilities in Johannesburg. You will work collaboratively with developers to streamline procedures and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, while managing infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment workflow.
• Implement scalable infrastructure solutions using cloud services.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using modern tools.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools for potential adoption.
• Maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
