Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be instrumental in improving our operational resilience. Your expertise will drive the enhancements and optimizations needed to ensure our platforms perform at their best while efficiently liaising with both development and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize potential improvements to the system architecture.
• Facilitate the transition of services to a more reliable infrastructure.
• Engage in incident response planning and execution.
• Upgrade existing systems and application infrastructure to enhance performance.
• Maintain backups of critical systems and ensure disaster recovery protocols are up to date.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in a similarly related role

Technical Skills

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Networking Fundamentals

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic): Hands-on experience in application performance monitoring solutions.
