Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients in Pretoria. You will assess financial documents, interpret tax regulations, and guide clients on proactive tax planning. A successful candidate will have a robust knowledge of local and international tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to assess tax obligations.
• Prepare and submit tax documentation promptly to authorities.
• Provide guidance on the applicability of tax incentives.
• Communicate effectively with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate tax workshops and training sessions for staff.
• Monitor tax compliance issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Support strategic business initiatives by providing tax insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in tax consultant roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Research
• Tax Software Proficiency

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Certified Tax Adviser (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
