Job Description

As a Pharmacist, you will utilize your pharmaceutical knowledge to provide outstanding care to our patients in Cape Town. Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, managing pharmacy operations, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of therapies.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunizations as required.
  • Engage with patients to understand their medication compliance and management.
  • Support disease management programs and health initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
  • Participate in community health outreach programs.
  • Maintain relationships with pharmaceutical representatives and vendors.
  • Ensure the pharmacy environment is conducive to patient care and staff productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a practicing Pharmacist
