Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and equipment, driving innovation while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You should have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical control systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation.
• Oversee quality assurance of electrical installations.
• Act as a mentor to less experienced engineers.
• Manage vendor relationships for supply chain efficiency.
• Contribute to R&D for innovative electrical solutions.
• Document and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with environmental teams on sustainability projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.)
