Job Description

We are searching for a Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity team in Sandton. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and security measures. This role involves designing secure cloud-based solutions, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security controls to safeguard sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Implement encryption solutions for data stored in the cloud.
• Work with data protection teams to ensure sensitive information is secure.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Coordinate with incident response teams to manage security incidents effectively.
• Prepare and present security reports to senior management.
• Participate in security drills and tabletop exercises to test incident response plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Relevant cloud security certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security roles, particularly with compliance frameworks
