Responsibilities

• Lead site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for projects.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for completed projects.
• Provide expertise in project bidding and contract negotiations.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff and interns on engineering practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in civil engineering.
• Engage with clients to understand their goals and expectations.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Civil Engineering or related field
• MSc in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural Design
• Civil Engineering Software

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
