Job Description

We are seeking a Corporate Banking Specialist to join our investment banking division in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of corporate finance, banking regulations, and client management strategies. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients while providing innovative financial solutions tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in corporate banking.
• Prepare detailed reports on client performance and financial health.
• Develop strategic plans to increase market share and client acquisition.
• Conduct presentations and meetings with corporate clients to discuss financial solutions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on corporate banking products.
• Engage in industry networking to foster relationships and develop partnerships.
• Monitor economic trends to advise clients appropriately.
• Lead negotiations for new deals and contracts with corporate clients.
• Create marketing materials to promote banking products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business
• Master's degree is highly regarded

Experience

• 5+ years in corporate banking or investment banking roles
