Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to manage our supply chain operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of logistics processes. This role involves coordinating shipments, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring efficiency.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to optimize transport routes.
  • Utilize logistics software for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers and transport providers.
  • Prepare and present logistics reports to management.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with safety regulations.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions in supply chain.
  • Assist in the integration of new technologies to enhance logistics operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years experience in logistics or supply chain management
