Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager for our Durban facility. This role entails managing warehouse operations, staff supervision, and implementing best practices to ensure efficient logistics. Candidates should have a proven track record in warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity targets are met.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all products to minimize damage.
• Oversee health and safety compliance within the warehouse environment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of warehousing activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Logistics Coordination

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SAP or Oracle systems: Familiarity with leading ERP systems for better inventory management.
• Forklift Operator Certification: Certification to operate forklifts safely in the warehouse.
