Job Description

Mental Health Solutions is looking for a passionate Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions in Cape Town. You will engage with clients to understand their mental health challenges and guide them towards healing and recovery. This role is vital in enhancing the overall mental health landscape of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessments and formulate treatment strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Engage in therapy sessions and utilize therapeutic techniques effectively.
  • Document client interactions and maintain confidential records.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Participate in training and development workshops to enhance skills.
  • Conduct mental health workshops and seminars for community groups.
  • Provide expert consultation on mental health issues as needed.
  • Advocate for client welfare and mental health resources in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) is preferred
  • Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist
Experience
  • 5 years of clinical psychology experience preferred
