Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Durban team. In this role, you will assess and implement security measures to protect our clients’ systems and data. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential vulnerabilities in client networks and systems.
• Develop incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture.
• Assist in the development of security awareness programs for staff.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
