Job Description

We are actively seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, working to safeguard our systems against various cyber threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design security architecture for network and application environments.
• Review and enhance existing security systems and protocols.
• Report on security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as a point of contact for security-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and external security partners as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and update security documentation and reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a focus on threat analysis

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
