Job Description

We are in search of a diligent Accounts Receivable Manager who will oversee the accounts receivable function. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure timely collection of payments, maintain accurate financial records, and build strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring prompt dispatch of invoices to clients.
  • Review and approve credit notes and adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, or other irregularities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management on accounts receivable status and performance.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for accounts receivable.
  • Engage in regular meetings with sales and other departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Establish a debt recovery process and liaise with collection agencies if required.
  • Utilize data analytics for performance improvement and better decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the accounts receivable process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and compliance regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional accounting qualifications (CA, CIMA, ACCA) are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles
