Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist to provide expert tax advice and oversee compliance for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for advising on tax-efficient strategies and ensuring that our clients meet their tax obligations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough understanding of clients' business structures for optimal tax planning.
• Prepare technical documentation for tax submissions and audits.
• Work with clients to resolve any tax-related questions or disputes.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on tax compliance matters.
• Maintain excellent client relationships ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Honours degree in Taxation or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of tax experience

Technical Skills

• Legislation Knowledge
• Financial Analysis

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Tax Practitioner registration with SARS preferred

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Previous consulting experience: Having a background in consulting is a bonus.
• Advanced Excel skills: Proficient in using Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
