Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience in civil design, project management, and site supervision. You will work on various projects, from infrastructure development to environmental assessments, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design process from concept to delivery.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure for renovation or upgrades.
• Coordinate with local authorities for permits and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training as needed.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.
• Ensure environmental considerations are included in plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in infrastructure development

• BIM Software
• Hydraulic Engineering

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
