Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will provide psychotherapy and assessments, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to improving the mental health of our community.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document client psychological health.
• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to optimize client care.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Deliver presentations on mental health awareness.
• Participate in research and contribute to program development.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology is required

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Crisis Intervention

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Membership with the HPCSA

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Group Therapy: Experience in leading and facilitating group therapy sessions.
• Advanced Training in Neuropsychology: Additional training or certification in neuropsychology preferred.
