Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior therapists and support staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the relevant governing bodies.
• Develop patient-centered goals in collaboration with patients and their families.
• Engage in outreach efforts to promote awareness of occupational therapy in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a rehabilitation setting

Certifications

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
