We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our talented team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring network security, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing valuable security protocols to protect company assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events to detect and respond to incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard information systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on security vulnerabilities and incident responses.
• Collaborate with IT departments to enforce security best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Educate employees on security awareness and best practices.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant security certifications will be a plus

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in information security
