Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Refinery Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient and safe operations of our refinery, ensuring optimal production processes and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and optimize production processes for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for process-related issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate training sessions for operational staff on the latest procedures and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies for energy conservation and waste minimization in refinery operations.
  • Analyze data from various sources to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on process engineering topics.
  • Assist in regulatory audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification preferred.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in refinery process engineering with a focus on safety and compliance.
