The Rerecording Mixer will take charge of mixing and balancing audio tracks for films and television productions. Collaborating closely with directors and producers, you will ensure the final audio mix aligns with the creative vision.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the production team to align on audio needs.
Consult with sound designers and dialogue editors for effective workflows.
Handle technical aspects of audio mixing and mastering.
Utilize industry-standard software to produce high-quality mixes.
Refine sound levels to ensure clarity and definition in the final product.
Supervise junior sound engineers during production.
Participate in meetings to discuss project objectives and updates.
Create detailed session files for project tracking.
Maintain organized archives of audio sessions and assets.
Adapt techniques based on emerging audio trends.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Sound Engineering or related field
Advanced diplomas or certifications are advantageous
