Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Water Carter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering clean water to various locations while ensuring proper maintenance of the water truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the water delivery vehicle safely.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team for effective load management.
• Perform daily inspections of the water truck.
• Ensure timely maintenance and repairs of the vehicle.
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines during operations.
• Assist in training new drivers on company protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a water carter or in a related field

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving skills
• Knowledge of water distribution systems

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills

Certifications

• Valid driver's license with Code 10 or higher

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the water supply and distribution industry: Familiar with systems and operations in the water distribution sector.
• Additional training in water management: Courses or certifications related to water management practices.
• Experience with GPS technology: Ability to navigate using GPS devices for efficient routing.
