Power Distribution Engineer

Job Description

The Power Distribution Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of complex power distribution systems. The incumbent will ensure system reliability, efficiency, and safety, utilizing a mix of technical expertise and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies on new power distribution projects.
• Oversee the implementation of sustainable energy management solutions.
• Assist in the development and optimization of smart grid technologies.
• Maintain and manage disaster recovery plans for power systems.
• Train junior engineers and provide mentorship.
• Collaborate with utility companies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Perform energy audits and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, ensuring that all aspects of the project are on track.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in power distribution engineering and project management
