Job Description

We seek a dedicated Tax Specialist with experience in the taxation field to bolster our Pretoria office. You will assist clients by advising them on tax law changes, preparing financial documentation, and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. A key aspect of your role will be liaising with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops to keep clients updated on tax compliance.
• Perform detailed audits of tax filings and financial records.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure tax efficiency.
• Act as a primary contact for client inquiries regarding tax issues.
• Create complex tax calculations and spreadsheets.
• Guide clients in the development of long-term financial strategies.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to foster trust.
• Review and enhance client filings for accuracy and regulation adherence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
