Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage our supply chain processes in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing logistic operations, optimising the procurement process, and ensuring timely delivery across the board.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of logistics and distribution.
• Conduct risk assessments to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Implement technology solutions to improve supply chain efficiencies.
• Prepare reports on supply chain performance for management review.
• Build and maintain a robust supplier network.
• Support sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations

Technical Skills

• Forecasting
• ERP Systems

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Proficient in data analysis tools: Experience with tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar for data analysis.
• Project management experience: Background in managing projects within the supply chain sector.
