Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing chemical processes, ensuring quality control and safety measures while working on innovative projects aimed at improving production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of chemical engineering projects.
• Develop process flow diagrams and engineering specifications.
• Ensure all engineering designs comply with health and safety standards.
• Provide insights and support for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
