The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, collecting data, and analyzing results for various projects within the community. Responsibilities

• Design and implement surveys tailored for community engagement.
• Present research findings in community meetings.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure objectives are met.
• Identify potential challenges in data collection and propose solutions.
• Provide training or guidance to junior research assistants.
• Attend workshops and conferences to improve research skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Research Methodology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in field or market research

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software (e.g., SPSS, R)
• GIS Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Interpersonal Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Proficient

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ethical research practices: Understanding of ethical guidelines and practices in field research.
• Experience in report writing: Strong skills in drafting comprehensive research reports.
