Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include coordinating teams, managing stakeholders, and driving project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all phases of project execution.
• Ensure effective resource utilization and management.
• Manage communications with all levels of project stakeholders.
• Assess and manage project changes and ensure effective tracking.
• Conduct regular team check-ins to monitor project status.
• Champion best practices in project management methodologies.
• Lead problem-solving efforts for project challenges.
• Ensure team members are trained and equipped for their roles.
• Create a project environment that fosters innovation and creativity.
• Implement effective conflict resolution strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or anything similar
• Master's degree in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience

Technical Skills

• MS Project
• JIRA

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• PRINCE2 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with project management software tools: Experience with tools such as Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience in cross-functional team leadership: Ability to lead and manage diverse project teams effectively.
