QA Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will analyze product requirements, design testing strategies, and execute tests to ensure high standards of software quality are met.

Responsibilities

• Create automated test scripts to maximize efficiency.
• Provide testing support for software acceptance and deployment.
• Collect and analyze statistics and reports to ensure test effectiveness.
• Guide and mentor junior QA team members in best practices.
• Review technical documentation to ensure clarity and usability.
• Attend project meetings to stay aligned with deliverable timelines.
• Engage in continual improvement of QA processes and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

• 4+ years in quality assurance or software testing.

Certifications

• Certified Testing Associate (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with SQL databases: Basic knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data for testing purposes.
