Job Description

We are seeking a Chemistry Lab Instructor to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching chemistry laboratory techniques to students, developing lab exercises, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach students various chemistry techniques and lab procedures in a hands-on environment.
• Create and update lab manuals and other instructional materials.
• Monitor and assess student progress and understanding in lab settings.
• Assist in research projects and provide guidance to students working on experiments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
• Teaching certification is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of teaching or lab instruction experience
