Job Description

As a Water Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our water treatment plant. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the delivery of clean and safe drinking water, monitoring quality, and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate SCADA systems to monitor plant performance.
• Sample and analyse water quality regularly.
• Engage with the community to address concerns about water quality.
• Support maintenance team in repairing main supply lines.
• Stay informed on new technologies in water treatment and implement as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• National Diploma in Water Care or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in water treatment operations

Certifications

• Additional water-related certifications or training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Basic
