Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical treatment to animals.
• Prepare animals and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Conduct health assessments and report any changes.
• Educate pet owners on health management and preventative care.
• Handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Oversee inventory management for medical supplies.
• Facilitate communication between clients and the veterinary team.
• Maintain a safe, sterile working environment in the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician

Technical Skills

• Animal Care
• Veterinary Software

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Knowledge and experience working with a variety of exotic species.
• BLS certification: Basic Life Support certification for animals.
