Job Description

As a Fashion Designer at Fashion House Ltd., you’ll have the opportunity to express your creative talents in a collaborative environment. From initial sketches to final product, your role will encompass concept development, fabric sourcing, and production oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design unique garments that capture the essence of our brand.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturers to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Manage timelines for design, prototyping, and production.
• Create mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Review and approve final samples before production.
• Stay informed about competitors and adapt designs accordingly.
• Produce sketches and technical specifications for production.
• Build relationships with fabric vendors and manufacturers.
• Keep detailed records of all design processes.
• Research and develop sustainable practices in garment production.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
• Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high-fashion design

• Trend Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Fashion Designer (CFD)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Background in fashion photography: Experience in capturing and promoting fashion collections through photography.
