IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated IT Support Technician to enhance our team in East London. You will be tasked with resolving technical issues, assisting users with software and hardware problems, and ensuring that our IT systems remain efficient and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to help desk requests promptly and resolve issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade IT hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation.
• Perform regular system maintenance and backups.
• Conduct training sessions for new software implementations.
• Collaborate with IT team members to enhance service delivery.
• Monitor computer networks and systems for irregularities.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
