Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal health through history-taking and examination.
  • Identify and treat conditions using diagnostic tools.
  • Administer anaesthesia and perform surgeries efficiently.
  • Guide pet owners in preventative health and wellness plans.
  • Supervise junior staff and veterinary students.
  • Engage in continual professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
