Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at our SOC in Pretoria, you'll be embedded in a fast-paced environment where you'll analyze vulnerabilities, monitor security alerts, and respond to incidents. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing our security posture amidst evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing analysis of security systems and applications.
• Work with threat intelligence to enhance security measures.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Lead meetings to discuss security updates and improvements.
• Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
• Develop training materials for end-user security awareness.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• Additional qualifications in network security

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in security operations

Technical Skills

• Firewalls
• Threat Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
