Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer in Port Elizabeth. You will be instrumental in leading the design and implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet all specifications while being completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and plans.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for project approvals.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
  • Manage project changes and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Conduct site visits and evaluate progress and quality of work.
  • Ensure environmental sustainability practices are incorporated.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registration with a relevant engineering council is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering projects
