We are seeking a talented Pattern Specialist to join our dynamic fashion team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in pattern drafting and garment construction, contributing to the creation of stylish and well-fitting clothing that appeals to contemporary consumers.

Responsibilities

• Revise patterns according to seasonal trends and customer feedback.
• Participate in design review sessions to provide insights on pattern functionality.
• Collaborate with fabric suppliers to ensure compatibility with selected materials.
• Ensure timely completion of pattern projects within set deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• 3D Pattern Software
• Fabric Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Textile Properties: Understanding how different fabrics behave during construction.
• Project Management Experience: Experience in leading projects from design through to production.
