SOC Analyst

Job Description

As a SOC Analyst, you will monitor and respond to security incidents, analyze logs, and assist in the protection of our networks. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams to mitigate risks and respond to threats effectively.

Responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring of security systems and databases.
• Analyze security incidents to find vulnerabilities and anomalies.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of security events.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to coordinate recovery efforts.
• Assist in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Participate in security strategy discussions.
• Educate staff on evolving security threats and best practices.
• Utilize security tools for incident detection and analysis.
• Conduct periodic reviews of security incidents and related processes.
• Support the development of new security technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Information Security is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Intrusion Detection Systems

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Security Automation Tools: Hands-on with automation tools for security tasks.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security: Knowledge in securing cloud environments.
