SOC Analyst

Job Description

As a SOC Analyst, you will monitor and respond to security incidents, analyze logs, and assist in the protection of our networks. You’ll work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams to mitigate risks and respond to threats effectively.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts.
• Investigate and respond to potential security breaches.
• Provide recommendations for improving security posture.
• Maintain documentation of incident responses and actions taken.
• Work with teams to implement security measures.
• Conduct threat intelligence research to stay informed.
• Train junior SOC staff and share knowledge.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Report on security metrics and incidents to management.
• Review system configurations and perform regular security assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Information Security is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations

Technical Skills

• Penetration Testing
• Intrusion Detection Systems

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Security Automation Tools: Hands-on with automation tools for security tasks.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security: Knowledge in securing cloud environments.
