Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing tax returns, and advising on tax-related matters to ensure compliance with local laws while optimizing tax liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements to determine tax implications.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Advise on taxes related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with local tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
• Provide support in developing effective tax policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement training programs related to tax compliance.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes from a tax perspective.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory or compliance roles
