Systems Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to join our team. The Systems Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, software applications, and network devices. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and be proficient in various software platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement new technologies and system upgrades effectively.
• Perform detailed system monitoring and issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and user manuals.
• Educate users on best practices for technology use and security.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills.
• Participate in team meetings to design and propose system enhancements.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Handle user requests efficiently through ticketing systems.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in IT support or systems administration
