Job Description

As a Veterinarian at Animal Care Clinic in Cape Town, you will utilize your expertise in veterinary medicine to provide compassionate care for animals. Your responsibilities will include performing routine check-ups, surgical procedures, and emergency care. You must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care and surgical services.
  • Assess health issues through physical exams and lab testing.
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
  • Perform spay/neuter procedures and other surgical interventions.
  • Advise on nutrition and preventive health for pets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Engage with pet owners regarding health concerns and treatment options.
  • Support clinic marketing and client communication efforts.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Current veterinary license in South Africa
Experience
  • 1-3 years of veterinary practice experience preferred
