Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to extract insights from data, conduct analyses, and present findings in an impactful manner. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in data analysis and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data systems are efficient and effective.
• Develop dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
• Provide recommendations based on data insights to improve processes.
• Identify data discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
• Assist in training other team members in data literacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in data analysis

Technical Skills

• SQL

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Big Data technologies: Experience with technologies like Hadoop or Apache Spark is advantageous.
