Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to assist with financial statement preparation, and audits, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to our firm’s success in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial audits and liaise with auditors.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
• Participate in the month-end closing process.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

• Financial Analysis

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor
• ACCA Qualified

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Hands-on experience working with integrated financial systems.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards: Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP is a plus.
