We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing guidance on compliance, and collaborating with clients to develop sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from environmental assessments to produce reports.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess environmental conditions.
• Provide expert guidance on waste management and pollution control.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to integrate sustainable practices.
• Support community engagement initiatives regarding environmental issues.
• Evaluate and improve existing community sustainability programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related discipline
• Master's in Environmental Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or relevant field
