Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a brilliant Architect who can leverage their skills in designing comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from conception to completion while working in a vibrant and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural designs for residential and commercial projects.
• Utilize advanced computer software to produce accurate drawings.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain communication with contractors throughout the project duration.
• Conduct feasibility studies related to different architectural projects.
• Conduct research into materials and construction methods.
• Draft and submit project proposals for approval.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or relevant field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in architectural roles with proven project success

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Accredited by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in urban design and planning.: Background in regulated development processes.
• Proficient in various architectural styles.: Ability to adapt designs to cultural and environmental contexts.
