DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sandton. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD best practices, and collaborating with developers to streamline workflow. Your expertise will be vital in driving our projects forward.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance automation practices.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct performance tuning of cloud resources.
• Stay current with industry trends related to DevOps tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps practices

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Scripting Languages (Python, Bash)

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Google Professional DevOps Engineer
• Docker Certified Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
