Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We're on the hunt for a talented Electrical Engineer to support our projects in Durban. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and improving electrical systems, collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design and schematics for projects.
• Perform electrical load calculations and system sizing.
• Monitor and evaluate project timelines and budgets.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical system failures.
• Work closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Assist in training junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) Registration
• Certification in Electrical Safety and Compliance

Languages
