Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our outstanding healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate must be passionate about patient care and possess excellent clinical skills. Your role will involve assessing patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and implement nursing interventions.
  • Manage IV lines and administer medications as per protocol.
  • Provide wound care and maintain hygiene standards in patient care.
  • Assist in coordinating patient care with other departments.
  • Document patient progress and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Educate patients on post-discharge care and medication compliance.
  • Participate in clinical audits to improve patient outcomes.
  • Engage with patients and their families to ensure understanding of their care plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with South African Nursing Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
