We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing exceptional patient care, and managing pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders and verify accuracy.
• Assist in compounding and preparing medications as needed.
• Educate patients on the proper use and storage of medications.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and follow-up consultations.
• Provide assistance in managing pharmacy financial records.
• Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all health and safety standards.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation Certificate
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or related field is beneficial

Experience

• 1+ years experience in retail pharmacy desirable

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
